Kriya or Shatkarma- Yogic cleansing technique
Shatkarma refers to 6 different Yogic practice involving purification of body. These practices are very precise and systemic science, practice described in Hatha yoga.
Shatkarma described in Hatha yoga are as follows:
Neti- A process of cleansing and purifying the nasal passages
Dhouti: The dhouti techniques which are giving in hatha yoga and four different type of cleaning method and cleanse the entire alimentary canal from mouth to the anus.
Nauli: A method of massaging and strengthening abdominal organ
Basti: Technique for washing and toning the large intestine
Kapalabati- A breathing technique for purifying the frontal region of the brain
Trataka -The practice of intense gazing at one point or object which develops the power of concentration.
